It’s an exciting time for Interactive Edge. Since the start of the year we added some great new clients, including Acosta Sales & Marketing, BIC, Nestle Waters and BBB Industries – an Automotive Aftermarket company. Many of these clients have already made great strides in the speed by which they can turn their data assets into actionable and customized recommendations that grow their businesses. It is always interesting to see what XP3 can do in a new context, particularly as we expand beyond the CPG industry.

Speaking of new, you may have heard that we released a new version of XP3! XP3 Suite Version 7.0 includes enhancements to both XP3 Presentation Builder and XP3 Report Builder.

XP3 7.0 highlights include:
Multiple Simultaneous Connections – XP3 v7.0 has the ability to connect to multiple data sources, housed in multiple databases – eliminating the need to consolidate data, saving time and allowing you to generate even more data driven insights
• Native PowerPoint Charting – XP3 Charts will store their data in an Excel workbook, which is embedded directly in the PowerPoint file. The charts will refresh faster and there are fewer instances of Excel to manage.
• Improved Time Analytics and Personalization – Time analytics can be performed directly against Time Period fields. No need for additional segmentation or manipulation at the data source.
• Multiple Hierarchy Support – Data can now be part of any number of hierarchies. All hierarchies defined at the data source are automatically picked up and available for querying.
Plus a new visual look, support for Office 2013, open integrations of new data sources, and more. You can view the XP3 v7.0 Release Overview here.

Finally, we welcome a new member to our team: John Murphy, VP of Client Development. John comes to Interactive Edge with 10 years of experience in CPG business analytics. John worked for The Boston Beer Company, brewers of Samuel Adams, for 7 years where he played an instrumental role in developing the Category Management capability for the National Accounts Sales Division. John then spent 3 years working in a client facing consulting role at IRI, where he partnered with CPG manufacturers to develop processes, frameworks, and tools to enhance their Category Leadership capabilities. John will bring a strong combination of business insight and client advocacy capability that will help Interactive Edge better service its current clients as well as open up new business opportunities.

I would love to hear about what is new with you and your business. Let’s set up a time to talk!
